Job Description
[]{#docs-internal-guid-69917653-7fff-cc42-65fc-8c4c6d4f7ead}This position will be responsible for keeping the Cook Campus of Wiregrass Technical College clean and safe. You will perform custodial duties including interior cleaning and seasonal deep cleaning. Additionally, you will assist with any special event set ups, special projects and other tasks to keep the campus in excellent condition. In this position, you will be given staff development opportunities to grow and learn to better maintain a safe and healthy work environment.

This is a part-time position, therefore no overtime can be earned. Periodic travel between major Wiregrass campuses and satellite sites.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
The successful candidate must be able to do the following: 1. Be able to withstand prolonged standing, bending, walking, and lifting of at least 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodations. 2. Be able to work flexible hours on occasion.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
In addition to meeting all other minimum qualifications, the highly desired candidate will possess one or more of the following: Prior commercial custodial experience preferred. Experience operating small cleaning equipment preferred. Forklift certification is a bonus.
SALARY/BENEFITSSalary is $12/hour. This is a part-time, eligible for Teachers Retirement System retirement benefits, working no more than 27 hours per week. No promise of full-time employment exists. No health nor flexible benefits will be provided.
