Setup and Cleanup:

Responsible for the setup and breakdown of event spaces before and after events. Ensure all event areas are clean, organized, and ready for guests before the event begins.

Maintenance:

Regularly inspect event areas for cleanliness and functionality. Address any maintenance issues promptly, including but not limited to, spills, broken equipment, or facility damage.

Waste Management:

Manage waste disposal during and after events, including recycling and proper disposal of waste materials. Ensure proper recycling procedures are followed according to local regulations. Assistance to

Event Staff:

Provide support to event staff and vendors as needed, including moving equipment, setting up tables/chairs, and assisting with decorations.

Safety and Security:

Maintain a safe environment for guests and staff by promptly addressing any safety hazards. Collaborate with security personnel to ensure the security of event spaces and assets.

Customer Service:

Provide courteous and helpful assistance to event attendees, answering questions and directing them as needed. Represent the venue or organization in a professional manner at all times.

Inventory Management:

Assist in inventory management by keeping track of event supplies and equipment. Report any shortages or damages to the appropriate personnel. Adherence to

Regulations:

Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, as well as venue policies and procedures. Stay updated on industry standards and best practices related to event custodial duties.

Team Collaboration:

Work collaboratively with other event staff members to ensure smooth execution of events. Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to coordinate tasks and address any issues that arise.

Flexibility:

Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to accommodate the scheduling needs of events.
