The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Duties Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in assigned areas. Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, break rooms, and common areas by restocking supplies and sanitizing surfaces. Carry out floor care duties such as buffing, stripping, and waxing as needed to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Conduct custodial duties for both commercial and industrial settings, ensuring all areas meet safety and cleanliness standards. Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as required, including minor repairs or reporting issues to management. Ensure proper disposal of waste materials and recycling according to company policies. Respond promptly to cleaning requests from staff or management to maintain operational efficiency. Requirements Proven experience in custodial or janitorial services preferred; familiarity with commercial cleaning practices is a plus. Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and maintenance of various flooring types. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. A proactive approach to problem-solving with the ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team environment.
