Competitive salary Commercial Cleaning Supervisor The responsibilities of the Supervisor include training, overseeing, and motivating team members. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring all staff stays on task and completes all assignments to Company standards. To excel in this role, a good understanding of cleaning principles and team management abilities are essential. Train housekeepers on cleaning and maintenance tasks Assign tasks to workers, and inspect completed work for conformance to standards Oversee staff on a daily basis Oversee floor and carpet care employees Issue supplies and equipment Resolve workers’ problems or refer matters to Manager Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation policies in all areas Assist in interviewing, hiring, and training employees Check rooms and common areas, including stairways and lounge areas, for cleanliness Schedule shifts and arrange for replacements in cases of absence Establish and educate staff on cleanliness, tidiness, and hygiene standards Respond to customer complaints and special requests Monitor and replenish cleaning products stock including floor cleaner, bleach, and rubber gloves Participate in large cleaning projects as required
Requirements and Skills:
Have at least 3 years of Commercial Office Cleaning experience. Hands-on experience with cleaning and maintenance tasks for large organizations Ability to use industrial cleaning equipment and products Excellent organizational and team management skills Stamina to handle the physical demands of the job Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends Reliable transportation to ensure consistent dependability required. Must be able to meet physical requirements of the position. Must successfully pass a background check. This position is located in a 3-building office property. The candidate MUST pass a background check, as they will be in tenant spaces and will have access to keys.
