The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Duties Perform custodial duties including cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining various areas such as restrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas. Conduct floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and vacuuming to ensure surfaces are clean and presentable. Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed to support overall building upkeep. Handle commercial and industrial cleaning responsibilities in accordance with safety standards. Manage waste disposal and recycling efforts to promote environmental sustainability. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure that cleaning schedules are met efficiently. Qualifications Previous experience in custodial or cleaning roles is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices is a plus. Knowledge of residential painting techniques can be beneficial for occasional touch-up tasks. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleanliness standards. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while being a team player when necessary. Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. A commitment to following safety protocols and procedures in all cleaning activities.
