Job Overview We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for everyone. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning, focusing on both commercial settings. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming, to ensure all areas are clean and well-maintained. Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, stripping, and waxing to maintain the appearance of flooring surfaces. Carry out custodial duties in both commercial environments, ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation standards. Maintain cleanliness indoors, outdoors, restrooms, break rooms, and in common areas by regularly restocking supplies and sanitizing surfaces throughout the mall. Respond promptly to cleaning requests or emergencies to uphold a clean environment at all times. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery. Qualifications Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred but not required. Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices is a plus. Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is advantageous. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Ability to perform cleaning tasks requiring lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
