The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. This position is essential in the hospitality industry, where attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness are paramount. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. Execute floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces. Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and efficiently. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or needs to management. Adhere to established cleaning protocols and safety standards. Assist with laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens. Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to guest requests or concerns. Collaborate with housekeeping management to ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards. Qualifications Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial roles is preferred but not required. Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is a plus. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions effectively. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of hotel or hospitality standards is an advantage. Must be physically capable of performing cleaning tasks that require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
