General Cleaner J&M Janitorial Services of Tallahasee LLC Thomasville, GA 31758 Overview Work schedule 7 days a week 6pm to 8 pm on weekdays and earlier on weekends. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various settings, including commercial and residential spaces. This role requires a proactive approach to ensure that all areas are kept clean, safe, and welcoming for clients and employees alike. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks in assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, kitchens, and common areas. Conduct industrial cleaning duties as required, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to ensure a pristine appearance. Execute custodial tasks such as waste disposal, dusting surfaces, and sanitizing high-touch areas. Assist with facilities maintenance by reporting any damages or maintenance needs promptly. Support residential painting projects as needed to enhance the aesthetic quality of spaces. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient cleaning operations and high standards of cleanliness. Skills Experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred. Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and polishing. Familiarity with industrial cleaning practices and safety protocols. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness standards consistently. Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
