The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to custodial duties, including commercial cleaning and floor care, as well as the ability to perform basic facilities maintenance tasks. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks in designated areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas. Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and waxing to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly maintained and stored. Assist with industrial cleaning projects as needed, ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Carry out custodial duties in accordance with established schedules and procedures. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly. Support residential painting projects when required, contributing to overall facility upkeep. Experience Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning roles is preferred but not required. Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices is a plus. Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment operation is beneficial. Experience in industrial cleaning environments will be considered an asset. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
