The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Responsibilities Perform custodial duties including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors to maintain cleanliness. Conduct thorough floor care, including buffing and polishing surfaces as needed. Carry out commercial cleaning tasks in offices, restrooms, and common areas to ensure hygiene standards are met. Clean and maintain equipment and supplies used in cleaning processes. Assist with industrial cleaning tasks in warehouses or manufacturing facilities as required. Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance needs promptly. Occasionally assist with residential painting projects when necessary. Act as a porter by ensuring that all areas are stocked with necessary supplies and materials. Skills Proven experience in custodial or commercial cleaning roles is preferred. Strong knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment operation. Familiarity with industrial cleaning practices is a plus. Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace consistently. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality work. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and facility occupants. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently while completing tasks.
