WE LOVE OUR WORK.

Reports to the Assistant Captain of the Watch any violations of USCG regulations, Louisiana Gaming Commission regulations, or unsafe conditions as it pertains to riverboat gaming. Participates in training with the deck crew on emergency procedures, safety, seamanship, and other training. Ensures that safety equipment is provided, and appropriate guidelines are followed for all tasks involving physical risk or hazardous materials. Responsible for the cleaning of the vessel interior and exterior (focus on detail cleaning, trash removal, and detail cleaning of restrooms). Performs various tasks involved in the maintenance and upkeep of vessel and equipment; this includes cleaning. esponsible for line handling, adjustment of winches, use of hydraulic ramps, and other tasks related to mooring of the vessel. Executes tasks as assigned by the Assistant Captain of the Watch.

Previous experience in marine, housekeeping, or janitorial industry preferred. Ability to perform duties required during emergencies; mentally and physically able to perform all firefighting duties; CPR and Firefighting training required. Must possess excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. Must have knowledge regarding proper use of basic hand tools. Ability to sustain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism. Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to dealing with issues. Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization. Must have the ability to remain calm in emergency or stressful situations.
