Day Porter/Custodian (URGENTLY HIRING) Budz N Suds LLC New Orleans, LA 70127 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Day Porter to join our team. The Day Porter plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for both employees and visitors. This position requires a proactive individual who can manage various cleaning and maintenance tasks effectively throughout the day. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning duties, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness in all areas of the facility. Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and polishing to ensure floors are well-maintained and presentable. Assist with commercial cleaning tasks, including restrooms, break rooms, and common areas to uphold hygiene standards. Carry out custodial duties, ensuring that all supplies are stocked and equipment is functioning properly. Support facilities maintenance by reporting any issues or repairs needed promptly. Engage in industrial cleaning tasks as required to maintain safety and cleanliness in work areas. Occasionally assist with residential painting projects as needed to enhance the appearance of the facility. Skills Proven experience in floor care techniques, including buffing and maintenance. Strong background in commercial cleaning practices. Familiarity with custodial responsibilities and industrial cleaning procedures. Ability to perform basic facilities maintenance tasks. Excellent attention to detail with a strong commitment to cleanliness. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively. Good communication skills for interacting with team members and visitors. A proactive approach to problem-solving and maintaining a clean environment.
