Duties Perform routine cleaning tasks in commercial, industrial, and residential settings. Maintain cleanliness in assigned areas by sweeping, mopping, buffing, and vacuuming floors. Conduct custodial duties including dusting, sanitizing surfaces, and emptying trash receptacles. Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed to ensure operational efficiency. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Use appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment safely and effectively. Follow established protocols for cleaning and disinfecting to maintain health standards. Provide porter services as required, including moving furniture or equipment. Qualifications Previous experience in commercial cleaning or industrial cleaning is preferred. Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment operation is a plus. Familiarity with custodial practices and facilities maintenance is advantageous. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Good physical stamina; ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. Reliable transportation to travel between job sites may be required.
