Job Summary:

Skye’s Janitorial is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Janitorial Supervisor to oversee cleaning and maintenance operations at assigned facilities. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a commitment to high cleaning standards, and the ability to manage a team efficiently. This role ensures that all janitorial duties are performed to client satisfaction while maintaining compliance with company policies and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and lead a team of janitorial staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management. Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and maintenance standards are met. Assign daily cleaning tasks and ensure they are completed efficiently and to company standards. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper usage and timely restocking. Train employees on proper cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and equipment usage. Address and resolve employee and client concerns in a professional manner. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations. Monitor and report maintenance and repair needs for equipment and facilities. Assist in hiring and onboarding new janitorial employees. Communicate regularly with management regarding staff performance and operational needs. Maintain records of employee attendance, work assignments, and incidents.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certification in janitorial services preferred. Minimum of 2 years of janitorial or custodial experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role. Strong leadership and communication skills. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and best practices. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Reliable transportation to various job sites.
