This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a variety of tasks, from hands-on repairs to ensuring the safety and security of our building.
Responsibilities:
Maintenance & Light Repairs:
Perform minor repairs such as fixing leaky faucets, replacing light bulbs, patching small holes, and basic carpentry tasks.
Plumbing:
Unclog toilets and drains.
Event Setup & Support:
Assist with the setup and breakdown of tables, chairs, and other equipment for events held in the building.
General Maintenance:
Ensure the building is clean and well-maintained, including light cleaning tasks as needed.
Weekend Security:
Serve as the primary security personnel on Saturday and Sunday mornings, which will primarily involve monitoring the premises and responding to any security-related issues.
Security Coverage:
Provide occasional fill-in security coverage during weekday vacations or absences of regular security staff.
Other duties:
Assist with other projects as needed by administration.

Wednesday:
9:00 AM to 12:00 PM•Primarily maintenance and event support
Saturday & Sunday:
9:00 AM to 1:00 PM•Primarily security, with potential for light maintenance or event setup assistance
Qualifications:
Previous experience in general maintenance or handyman work. Basic knowledge of plumbing and building repairs is a plus. Ability to lift and move furniture and equipment. Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and follow instructions. Reliable and punctual. Security experience is beneficial but not always required; we are willing to train the right candidate.
