Experience Position Summary:

Xplicit Technologies, LLC is seeking reliable and detail-oriented custodial professionals for janitorial services at the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Hammond Air and Marine Branch. Employment is contingent upon contract award. The Custodial Services team will ensure that all assigned facilities are maintained in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition in accordance with federal requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Vacuum, sweep, mop, buff, and shampoo carpets and hard surface floors Strip and wax floors as needed Empty trash receptacles and replace liners Clean and disinfect restrooms, locker rooms, showers, and exercise areas Refill restroom and break room supplies Perform high and low dusting on surfaces, vents, blinds, and furniture Clean glass, mirrors, light fixtures, and drinking fountains Wash and dust Venetian blinds Check and replace interior light bulbs (bulbs provided by government) Maintain entrance mats and ensure cleanliness of walk-off areas Perform spot cleaning on walls, partitions, doors, and fixtures Use proper chemicals per material manufacturer guidelines Follow all safety guidelines and display caution signage when necessary

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred 1+ year of commercial janitorial experience (government facility experience a plus) Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods Must be able to pass a background check suitable for work on a federal contract Strong attention to detail and reliability Ability to follow a detailed cleaning schedule and instructions Must be available for full-time work upon contract award

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience cleaning in law enforcement or government facilities Knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques OSHA awareness or custodial safety training
