The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness. Duties Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors. Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and waxing to maintain the appearance of surfaces. Carry out custodial duties in both commercial and industrial settings, ensuring all areas are clean and well-maintained. Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed, including minor repairs and upkeep. Engage in residential painting projects when required, contributing to the overall aesthetics of the facility. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are used efficiently and safely. Respond promptly to cleaning requests or emergencies to ensure a clean environment at all times. Skills Proven experience in custodial or commercial cleaning roles is preferred. Strong knowledge of floor care techniques, including buffing and maintenance. Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices is a plus. Ability to perform residential painting tasks effectively. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Good communication skills to interact effectively with team members and facility occupants.
