The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in various environments, including industrial, food production, commercial, and warehouse settings. This role is crucial in ensuring that all areas meet health and safety standards, providing a clean and safe environment for employees and customers alike. Duties Perform thorough cleaning tasks in assigned areas, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming. Sanitate surfaces to prevent the spread of germs and maintain hygiene standards. Conduct industrial cleaning in manufacturing facilities and food processing plants. Assist with heavy lifting and moving of equipment or materials as needed. Follow safety protocols while using cleaning chemicals and equipment. Fabricate cleaning solutions as necessary for specific tasks. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report shortages to management. Collaborate with team members to ensure all cleaning duties are completed efficiently. Experience Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning is preferred but not required. Familiarity with industrial cleaning practices is a plus. Experience in food production or processing environments is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Excellent time management skills to complete tasks within designated time frames.
