Custodian C-2 Position Available In Hampden, Massachusetts

Custodian C-2 – High School The Town of West Springfield seeks aqualified individual to fill the position of full-time BuildingCustodian. Under the general supervision of the Director of CentralMaintenance, this position handles cleaning and routine maintenance ofthe West Springfield School Buildings. Examples of Duties Positionperforms general cleaning of windows, floors, furniture, washing andpolishing of floors, cleaning of rugs, minor repair work, painting, snowremoval and other duties as assigned. The schedule for this position isMonday through Friday 3:00pm-11:00pm. Typical QualificationsRequirements of the position include: completion of a standard gradeschool curriculum, possession of a valid drivers’ license and at leasttwo (2) years of prior experience as a custodian in a similar position.

Previous education or training in vocational schools, or graduation fromhigh school desired. In lieu of the foregoing, any equivalentcombination of training and experience that provides the requisiteknowledge, abilities and skills may be considered at the discretion ofthe Town.
