• Job Description:

• \Temporary opening for a full-time Custodian to work for awell-established business in Presque Isle. This position offers anexcellent daytime schedule. Previous experience strongly preferred, butnot required! Job assignment is expected to last 3 to 4 months. 8:00 AMto 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday; $18.00
• $18.50/hr.\The Custodian will be responsible for keeping the facility andsurrounding grounds clean and accessible for staff and visitors. Dutieswill include routine cleaning and maintenance, lawncare and snowremoval, and completion of minor repairs to the building and fixtures asneeded. Ideal candidate should have previous professional cleaningand/or maintenance experience.\

• Responsibilities:

• Keep all facilities clean and accessible by wiping down surfaces, sweeping, moping, and vacuuming floors, and storing/organizing tools and materials in designated locations
• Maintain the exterior of the building and surrounding campus by performing routine maintenance and lawncare
• Wash interior windows, doors, woodwork, and walls as needed
• Clean, dust, and polish furniture, fixtures, and displayers throughout all areas of the building
• Clean and restock restrooms
• Empty wastebins and dispose of trash in designated outdoor areas
• Inspect electrical and plumbing fixtures, heat sources, and ventilation systems to ensure that all utilities are in working order
• Perform minor repairs as needed or notify management of any conditions that may require specialized maintenance
• Keep the facility secure by ensuring that security systems are engaged and that all entrances are locked at the end of the day.

• Job Requirements:

• Two of more years of maintenance and/or custodial experience strongly preferred
• Valid drivers license and good driving record
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Basic computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Professional and friendly attitude; must be able to work well independently and in team settings.

• Schedule:

• FT/Days; 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

• Pay:

• $18.00
