Temp-to-Hire Opportunity Job Description:

Retail Cleaner needed to work for a locally owned business in Presque Isle. Flexible daytime schedule – no previous experience required! Full-Time/Days; hours available from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM. $16.00/hr. The Retail Cleaner will dust and organize store shelves. Employee will remove trash and debris, wipe down surfaces, sort product, and organize displays as directed. Prior professional cleaning and/or custodial experience a plus.

Responsibilities:

Thoroughly clean and sanitize shelves, display cases, and other surfaces throughout the store in an efficient and organized manner.
Remove, sort, and re-organize sales displays, ensuring that unsold products are appropriately stored and not damaged during cleaning.
Clean up trash, debris, stains, and spills.
Set aside damaged or spoiled items so that they can be counted and appropriately disposed of.
Return unsold items to cleaned display areas, paying close attention to ensure that labels and prices match.
Keep accurate task records so that staff can determine which areas are clean and which require maintenance.
Perform other relevant duties as requested.

Job Requirements:

Working knowledge of common cleaning products and procedures.
Strong reading comprehension; must be able to re-shelve products by matching labels and price tags appropriately.
Ability to bend, kneel, squat, and reach overhead with ease. Good attention to detail.

Schedule:

 Full-Time/Days; hours available from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

Pay:
