Part-Time Working Hours:
Monday to Saturday, 2 hours per evening (total of 12 hours per week) Ex.) 5:00-7:00 PM or 8:00-10:00 PM (start time after 5:00 PM) Job Description The Cleaning Specialist plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our clients’ spaces by performing a range of janitorial duties. This role requires attention to detail, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality cleaning services. The Cleaning Specialist will ensure that all assigned areas are cleaned and sanitized, restock supplies, and collaborate with the team to meet client expectations and maintain operational excellence. Job Responsibilities
- Performing cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors and stairs.
- Sanitizing and cleaning restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
- Dusting and cleaning furniture, desks, windowsills, and other surfaces.
- Restocking supplies in designated areas, including bathrooms and break rooms.
- Emptying trash cans, replacing liners, and ensuring trash receptacles are clean.
- Maintaining janitorial equipment and storage areas in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
- Proper handling, labeling, and use of cleaning chemicals in accordance with safety protocols.
- Wearing and maintaining Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Reporting maintenance or safety issues to supervisors.
- Collaborating with team members to complete additional maintenance tasks as assigned. Role Requirements
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to interact with all levels of staff, clients, and stakeholders.
- Ability to adapt to changing environments and manage competing priorities.
- Experience in custodial or facility management (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of floor care, cleaning techniques, and equipment (a plus). Physical Requirements
