The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to custodial duties, including commercial and industrial cleaning, floor care, and general maintenance tasks. Duties Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces in assigned areas. Maintain floors through buffing, waxing, and polishing to ensure they are in excellent condition. Conduct thorough custodial services in both commercial and residential settings as needed. Respond promptly to cleaning requests and maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the facility. Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and report any needs for replenishment. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols while performing all cleaning duties. Qualifications Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning is preferred but not required. Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and maintenance is a plus. Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
