The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various office environments. This role is essential in ensuring a safe and pleasant working atmosphere for all employees and visitors. The Office Cleaner will perform a variety of cleaning tasks, including custodial duties, floor care, and facilities maintenance. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning of office spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, and mopping floors. Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas by restocking supplies and sanitizing surfaces. Conduct buffing and polishing of floors to ensure they are well-maintained and presentable. Assist with industrial cleaning tasks as needed, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Support porter duties by moving furniture or equipment as required for cleaning purposes. Carry out residential painting tasks when necessary to maintain the aesthetic appeal of the office environment. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly. Follow established cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure all areas are cleaned regularly. Qualifications Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning is preferred but not required. Knowledge of floor care techniques, including buffing and polishing methods. Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices is a plus. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills to interact effectively with staff and management. Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting or moving items up to 25 pounds.
