Monday – Friday, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm Company Summary Our valued client is a leading manufacturer of plastic lighting enclosures and components, known for a commitment to quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction. The company provides a wide range of plastic products to the lighting and related industries, with a strong presence in the St. Louis region. Position Summary The Industrial Janitor is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout the facility’s industrial and production areas, ensuring compliance with safety and health regulations. Key Responsibilities Maintain cleanliness, safety, and functionality in the warehouse and production facility. Operate industrial cleaning equipment, including a floor Zamboni on concrete floors. Clean machines (top and bottom; not responsible for repairs). Remove cobwebs from corners and ceilings. Clean windows, sweep, and perform general cleaning tasks. Responsible for cleaning the entire warehouse and production areas. Maintain the facility’s cleanliness (not responsible for facility repairs). Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous custodial, janitorial, or industrial cleaning experience required. Experience with industrial cleaning equipment. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods. Reliable and punctual. Must pass a background check and drug test. Strong attendance and punctuality record. Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently without constant supervision. Key Attributes Takes ownership of responsibilities. Productive and self-motivated.
