TITLE Public Area Heavy Duty Porter

DESCRIPTION

The Public Areas Department Heavy Duty Porter is responsible for the deep cleaning, sanitation and property presentation of all Public Areas including but not limited to the parking facilities, back offices, halls and elevators. Ability to safely and effectively operate heavy duty equipment, carpet shampooing, moving furniture, garage and ground areas, deep cleaning floors, etc. Delivers supplies where needed in bathrooms, offices and other supply closets. Knowledge of safety rules and OSHA regulations. Must possess excellent organizational and communications skills.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

High School or GED Equivalent preferred. Knowledge of multiple machines and their functions. Knowledge of multiple pads or brushes needed for flooring types. Knowledge of OSHA. Knowledge of chemicals specific to flooring. Previous Heavy Duty or equivalent title of responsibility, 1 year preferred. Must possess excellent organization and communication skills. Must be 21 years of age or older.
