TITLE Steward Lead Heavy Cleaner
DESCRIPTION
The primary function of the Lead Heavy Cleaner position is to oversee Steward Heavy Cleaners to assure all scheduled projects each night are completed properly and appropriate safety measures are in pace. Assure proper training of staff, educate on proper chemical use, and assure team adheres to all company and depart policies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Leads heavy cleaner steward team members in the maintenance of kitchen equipment, sanitation, organization, and cleaning. Ensures all kitchen and back of the house areas are kept clean, all equipment is stored in its proper location and cleaned in accordance with the cleaning schedule. Manages the stewarding function in all kitchen areas to promote overall cleanliness, sanitation and compliance with state and local health regulations.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED required. Two years’ experience as a Steward, housekeeping, or similar field preferably in a hotel or casino environment. One (1) year of previous Food & Beverage experience. Bilingual preferred. Must have a Valid Driver’s License or State Issued
