The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to custodial duties, with an emphasis on high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Duties Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors. Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas. Carry out floor care duties such as buffing and waxing as needed. Conduct residential painting tasks when required to maintain facility aesthetics. Assist with industrial and commercial cleaning projects to ensure compliance with safety standards. Support facilities maintenance by reporting any issues or repairs needed within the premises. Serve as a porter by managing waste disposal and recycling efforts effectively. Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and maintained properly. Requirements Previous experience in custodial or janitorial roles is preferred but not mandatory. Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment operation is a plus. Familiarity with residential painting and general facilities maintenance tasks is advantageous. Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills to interact effectively with staff and visitors.
