This role is essential in ensuring that our facilities are clean, well-maintained, and safe for all occupants. The ideal candidate will have experience in custodial services and facilities maintenance, with a strong focus on cleanliness and upkeep of commercial and spaces. Duties Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness throughout the facility. Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and waxing to ensure floors are polished and presentable. Handle custodial duties in various settings including commercial buildings and residential properties. Assist with industrial cleaning tasks as needed, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, break rooms, and common areas to provide a hygienic environment for staff and visitors. Conduct minor maintenance tasks as required, including light repairs and painting to enhance the appearance of the facility. Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or needs for replenishment. Respond promptly to cleaning requests or emergencies to ensure swift resolution. Experience Previous experience in custodial services or facilities maintenance is preferred. Familiarity with commercial cleaning techniques and equipment is advantageous. Skills in floor care practices such as buffing are highly desirable. Experience with industrial cleaning methods is a plus. Basic knowledge of residential painting techniques is beneficial. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Excellent time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks throughout the day.
