Full Job Description Job Summary:

Responsible for on-going customer service support for cleaning supply accounts in Western North Carolina, while also providing oversight and coordination of operational functions, including warehouse organization, order fulfillment, and deliveries to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Primary Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts through regular site visits, phone calls, emails, and product demonstrations. Provide technical support and ongoing assistance to established accounts, building strong relationships that foster trust and long-term business. Enter and monitor customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely fulfillment and delivery. Coordinate with the warehouse team to oversee product inventory, picking/packing processes, and shipment scheduling. Provide logistical oversight of deliveries to Western NC customers, working with drivers to ensure timely and accurate drop-offs. Identify and resolve any service, delivery, or product issues in coordination with internal departments. Maintain familiarity with Interstate’s technology platforms including Step 1, Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and other tools used for communication and order management. Develop strong internal communication channels with co-workers and external contacts to support seamless service and delivery. Support the expansion and usage of online ordering systems (e.g., J&M) for established accounts to streamline repeat orders. Assist in identifying operational improvements or efficiencies within the warehouse and delivery process.

Requirements:

Previous janitorial or cleaning industry experience preferred Experience in operations, logistics, or warehouse oversight a plus Ability to work independently and follow instructions Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in tasks Good time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks effectively Strong interpersonal and communication skills
