• Duties
• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
• Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas
• Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and waxing to ensure surfaces are well-maintained
• Carry out custodial duties in both commercial and residential settings as needed
• Assist with facilities maintenance tasks, ensuring that all equipment is functioning properly
• Respond promptly to cleaning requests or emergencies
• Manage waste disposal and recycling efforts effectively
• Ensure that cleaning supplies are stocked and maintained.
• Qualifications
• Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning roles is preferred
• Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices is a plus
• Familiarity with floor care techniques, including buffing and waxing
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
