The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Duties Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors. Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas. Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and waxing to ensure surfaces are well-maintained. Carry out custodial duties in both commercial and residential settings as needed. Assist with facilities maintenance tasks, ensuring that all equipment is functioning properly. Respond promptly to cleaning requests or emergencies. Manage waste disposal and recycling efforts effectively. Ensure that cleaning supplies are stocked and maintained. Qualifications Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning roles is preferred. Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices is a plus. Familiarity with floor care techniques, including buffing and waxing. Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
