Porter at Apartment Complex KPI Residential Durham, NC 27707 As a Porter, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the apartment complex, both internally and externally. Your primary responsibilities will involve groundskeeping, interior cleaning, and ensuring that residents and visitors have a welcoming experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Grounds Maintenance:

• Sweep, rake, pressure wash and dispose of debris in common areas, walkways, and parking lots.
• Remove litter and ensure that outdoor amenities (e.

g., pool areas, BBQ grills) are clean and inviting. 2.

Interior Cleaning:

• Clean and sanitize common areas, including lobbies, hallways, laundry rooms, and recreational facilities.
• Dust and vacuum floors, windows, and furniture to ensure a tidy environment.
• Manage waste disposal and recycling in all common areas.

Building Maintenance Support:

• Assist maintenance staff with minor repairs and tasks as needed.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.

Resident Interaction:

• Greet residents and guests with a friendly demeanor and assist them as needed.
• Respond to residents’ requests for assistance in common areas or with property issues.

5.

Inventory Management:

• Assist in managing cleaning supplies and materials, ensuring that inventory levels are maintained.
• Notify management when supplies are low or reorder is necessary.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in cleaning, groundskeeping, or a similar role is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and handle physical tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Good communication skills and a friendly attitude toward residents and team members.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Must be able to work outside in various weather conditions.
