The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance tasks, with a focus on quality and efficiency. Duties Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming in designated areas. Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas to ensure a hygienic environment. Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and polishing to uphold the appearance of flooring surfaces. Assist with residential painting and minor repairs as needed to enhance facility aesthetics. Carry out custodial duties in commercial and industrial settings, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Monitor supplies and report any maintenance needs or safety hazards to management promptly. Ensure that all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored after use. Skills Experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred. Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices is a plus. Proficiency in floor care techniques, including buffing and polishing. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication skills. Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Experience as a porter or in industrial cleaning environments is advantageous.
