Vacation Rental Cleaner Blue Sun Cleaning Sylva, NC 28779 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in various commercial settings. This role is essential in ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for both employees and clients. A commitment to high standards of cleanliness and a proactive approach to custodial tasks are key to success in this position. Duties Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of designated areas. Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and common areas to ensure hygiene standards are met. Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly. Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and report any shortages or needs for replenishment. Follow established safety protocols while using cleaning equipment and chemicals. Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify areas needing attention or improvement. Collaborate with team members to ensure all cleaning duties are completed efficiently. Experience Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred but not required. Familiarity with cleaning products, equipment, and safety procedures is a plus. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately. Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A positive attitude and willingness to learn new cleaning techniques and methods.
