Janitor – Maintenance Saladang Thai Kitchen Sanford, NC 27330 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor/Maintenance professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to custodial duties, facilities maintenance, and general upkeep of commercial spaces. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas. Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, stripping, and waxing to ensure high-quality appearance and safety. Assist with residential painting projects as needed to enhance the aesthetic appeal of the facilities. Carry out industrial cleaning tasks in compliance with safety regulations and standards. Maintain cleanliness in common areas, restrooms, and other high-traffic zones through regular inspections and cleaning schedules. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and perform minor repairs as necessary to ensure functionality of facilities. Collaborate with team members to uphold cleanliness standards and address any issues that arise during shifts. Act as a porter when required, assisting with the movement of supplies or equipment within the facility. Requirements Proven experience in custodial or commercial cleaning roles is preferred. Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices is a plus. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively. Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and maintenance is desirable. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
