The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to custodial duties, including commercial and industrial cleaning, floor care, and facilities maintenance. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming in designated areas. Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, break rooms, and common areas to ensure a hygienic environment. Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, waxing, and polishing to preserve the quality of flooring surfaces. Assist with residential painting projects as needed to enhance the appearance of facilities. Carry out industrial cleaning tasks in compliance with safety regulations and company standards. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly. Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are stored properly and maintained in good working condition. Skills Experience in custodial or commercial cleaning is preferred. Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment operation is essential. Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices is a plus. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Good communication skills to interact effectively with staff and visitors.
