Grounds Cleaner – Multiple Properties (MUST have clean driving record) Veterans Easy Trash Service, LLC Matthews, NC 28104

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dependable, self-motivated Grounds Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of commercial properties across the Charlotte, NC area. This position involves daily travel between locations, performing litter pick-up, trash bin management, and dumpster area cleanups. A clean and valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities:

Walk assigned commercial properties and remove litter, debris, and trash from sidewalks, parking lots, and landscaped areas Clean around dumpster enclosures and ensure surrounding areas are neat and free of loose trash Move and manage trash cans, bins, and other waste containers as needed Drive between properties on a scheduled route. Work independently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and efficiency Communicate clearly with supervisors and property managers when issues arise Report any safety hazards, maintenance needs, or unusual conditions on site

Requirements:

Valid and clean driver’s license (required) PLUS – if you know how to drive a truck with a trailer Ability to walk long distances and perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions Strong attention to detail and time management Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and move large bins or containers when needed Ability to work early mornings and afternoons, depending on schedule

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience in groundskeeping, janitorial, or outdoor cleaning services
