Job Description:
Our kitchen exhaust cleaners have an important role in keeping our customers’ commercial kitchens in compliance with fire safety standards. Daily duties include, but are not limited to:
- Consistent, on-time attendance at work
- Following all safety protocols regarding chemicals, ladder safety, equipment operation and driving
- Load and unload company vehicle with all necessary equipment and materials for each job
- Keep inventory of supplies for replenishment when necessary
- Tarp kitchen equipment to protect customers’ property
- Take before and after pictures of all areas serviced
- Clean fan units, duct work, filters and canopies of kitchen exhaust systems
- Complete job service reports in company digital platform
- Keep company truck, work area and all equipment clean and organized
- Leave customer sites in clean condition, ready for operation
- Work and communicate effectively and respectfully with all team members and customers
Requirements:
- Prior experience in commercial kitchen hood cleaning or a related field is highly desirable
- Clean driving record
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to carry up to 50 lbs
- Ability to climb ladders and work in confined spaces
Schedule:
Typical work week is overnight shifts starting Sunday night through Thursday night. Schedule is dictated by customer site closing times, so there is some variability.
Pay:
Depending on prior experience, hourly wages range from $18.00 to $22.00.
