The Porter plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for both guests and staff. This position requires a proactive individual who takes pride in their work and is committed to upholding high standards of cleanliness and service. Responsibilities Maintain cleanliness of all shop areas, including hallways, restrooms, and outdoor spaces. Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces. Assist with the setup and breakdown of events or meetings as needed. Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and report when stock is low. Respond promptly to requests from management or guests regarding cleaning needs or maintenance issues. Ensure all equipment is used safely and maintained properly. Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others. Experience Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory; we are willing to train the right candidate. Strong attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality service. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Good communication skills to interact effectively with guests and staff. Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks throughout the shift, including lifting and moving objects as needed.
