⚐ ⚑ ⚑ Part Time Short Term Rentals Cleaner (3-5 cleans average per week) (Downtown Wilmington) compensation: $30-120 per cleaning employment type: experience level: entry level job title: cleaner I run a few short term rental properties in Wilmington downtown area near the RiverWalk. I am looking for somebody with a car who is reliable and trustworthy to come clean between guest stays. You would need to come by between 11am-1:30pm on specific days to clean and reset the home for the next guest (finish by 3 or 4pm). This includes changing the sheets and towels, washing them for next reset, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, general cleaning, sanitizing, wiping all surfaces, occasionally doing dishes. Occasionally some various duties, like opening Amazon boxes, keeping inventory of cleaning supplies, changing air filter, putting out trash bins to curb etc. I am looking for a secondary cleaner who would be backup to my primary cleaner (around 3-5 cleans average per week). I will likely obtain more properties in the future so this position will grow. Flexibility and availability between the hours of 11am-3pm is important, as I often get last-minute requests. Dependability and trustworthiness are paramount. Pay for a small studio unit is $30 per clean and for houses (3-4 bedrooms) would be between $40-100, depending on number of guests that stayed, plus $10 per pet plus $10-20 for longer stays over 5 nights. I pay per cleaning not per hour. The time it would take for each cleaning depends how clean the guests left it (more often than not they leave it very clean) and how fast you are, but would average around 1 hour per studio unit and 1.25-3.25 hours for houses, more if there were extra guests or guest had pets (which you receive additional pay for). I pay weekly on Tuesdays for all cleanings for the prior week. I assign cleanings through an app so you would need a smartphone. Your performance will be judged by myself or primary cleaner doing random occasional spot checks, but mostly by the reviews that guests leave. This would be a good job for students or retirees or part-time employees or full-time freelance cleaners looking for some extra cash.
