The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various areas in the Club, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants and guests. This job requires attention to detail and a commitment to high professional standards. In addition, you will be responsible for applying basic fixes to equipment and building systems. Experience and technical knowledge accompanied with mental dexterity and physical stamina are paramount. Responsibilities Perform routine tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and daily cleaning of restrooms to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas. Carry out custodial duties in all Club settings to ensuring all areas are clean and sanitary. Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed, including minor repairs and upkeep of equipment. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or needs for replenishment. Ensure compliance with safety protocols while using cleaning chemicals and equipment. Provide porter services as required, assisting with the movement of furniture or equipment within the facility. Respond promptly to cleaning requests or emergencies to uphold cleanliness standards. Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs. Check functionality of safety systems i.e.: ventilation and fire alarms and report issues to facilities manager. Rooms set up for banquets. Pool maintenance. Experience Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning roles is preferred but not mandatory. Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems. Experience in facilities maintenance or industrial cleaning is beneficial. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions effectively. A proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness and order in all work areas. Very good communication and interpersonal skills. Physical stamina and dexterity. High school diploma or equivalent.
