Position Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Day Porter to join our facilities team. The Day Porter is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the property throughout the day. This role requires a proactive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to perform light cleaning tasks and restocking duties to ensure a clean, welcoming environment for employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine cleaning of high-traffic areas including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, breakrooms, and common areas Monitor and restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper Wipe down surfaces, remove trash, and maintain floors throughout the day Respond promptly to cleaning requests and spills Ensure restrooms are clean and odor-free at all times Maintain a visible presence to support building cleanliness standards Clean and sanitize the gym locker room after the facility closes daily Notify management of any maintenance issues or safety concerns

Qualifications:

Prior janitorial or porter experience preferred Ability to work independently and follow instructions Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness Good communication and customer service skills Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs during shift

Work Environment:

This position is physically active and requires working indoors and occasionally outdoors. Must be comfortable interacting with the public and other staff throughout the day.
