Performing more than 12,000 outpatient surgical procedures a year, the facility offers a convenient-and clinically excellent-alternative to inpatient hospitalization for a wide range of surgical procedures. Outpatient procedures are performed in eight modern, well-equipped suites by surgeons specializing in dental and oral surgery, orthopedics, gastroenterology, general and plastic surgery, gynecology, podiatry, neurosurgery, urology and more. Position Summary The Area Technician is responsible for the daily cleaning and disinfecting of rooms and public areas, furnishings and assigned work areas, removal and disposal of soiled waste and linen, performing floor care and carpet care and general detail cleaning to ensure that the facility is clean and aesthetically pleasing. The Area Technician must follow established policies and procedures to ensure high standards of cleanliness and sanitation if maintained throughout the hospital. Minimum Requirements GED or High School Diploma preferred- or higher.
