In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and functionality in various facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. Your expertise in custodial services and facilities maintenance will contribute significantly to the overall upkeep of our spaces. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, mopping, and vacuuming to maintain a clean environment. Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, stripping, and waxing to ensure floors are well-maintained. Carry out industrial cleaning duties as required, adhering to safety protocols. Assist with residential painting projects as needed to enhance the appearance of facilities. Manage waste disposal and recycling efforts efficiently. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and perform minor repairs as necessary. Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly maintained and stored. Collaborate with team members to uphold high standards of cleanliness in commercial spaces. Act as a porter when needed, assisting with the movement of furniture or equipment. Requirements Proven experience in custodial or janitorial services is preferred. Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices and procedures. Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and safety standards. Ability to perform floor care tasks including buffing and waxing. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining cleanliness. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively. Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that may require lifting or standing for extended periods. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and maintenance tasks.
