Job Description – Summary Grounds, Custodial, and Facilities Assistant supports the maintenance and cleanliness of a facility’s grounds, buildings, and common areas to ensure a safe and welcoming environment. This entry-level role involves performing routine cleaning, light maintenance, and grounds keeping tasks under supervision.

credit hours to qualify for FWS Program
This is a part-time opportunity. Students may work up to 15 hours per week, depending on their unmet need on their FASFA.

    • Clean and sanitize restrooms, hallways, offices, and other areas.
    • Perform basic landscaping, such as mowing, trimming, and watering plants.
    • Remove trash and recycling from designated areas.
    • Conduct minor repairs to equipment or facilities as needed.
    • Restock supplies in restrooms and common areas.
    • Ensure walkways and outdoor areas are free of debris, ice, or hazards.
    • Assist with setting up and breaking down spaces for events.
    • Follow safety procedures and report any maintenance concerns. General Qualifications

    • No formal education or experience required; on-the-job training provided.
