7a-330pm Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in various environments, including hospitals and commercial facilities. This role requires a strong commitment to upholding high standards of cleanliness and safety, ensuring that all areas are sanitized and well-maintained. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks in accordance with established protocols to ensure a hygienic environment. Sanitize surfaces, including patient rooms, waiting areas, and restrooms. Conduct floor care activities, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming. Manage custodial duties such as waste disposal and recycling. Assist in maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and report shortages as needed. Follow OSHA guidelines to ensure safety while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment. Collaborate with the environmental services team to uphold cleanliness standards across all facilities. Respond promptly to cleaning requests and special projects as assigned. Requirements Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning preferred. Knowledge of sanitation practices and procedures in hospital or healthcare settings is a plus. Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment. Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work. Must be physically capable of performing the essential functions of the role, including lifting and moving equipment as necessary. Understanding of OSHA regulations related to cleaning practices is desirable.
