⚐ ⚑ ⚑ Part-Time AirBnB Cleaner (5-10 cleans average per week) (Downtown Raleigh) compensation: $200-$400 average per week: $30-$90 per cleaning (about 1.25-3.5 hours per cleaning) employment type: experience level: entry level job title: cleaner I run many short-term rentals in downtown Raleigh, all within a 5 minute drive of each other. I am looking for somebody with a car who is reliable and trustworthy to come clean one or more places between guest stays. You would need to arrive at the place between 11am-12pm on specific days to clean (cleans need to be finished by 4pm) and reset the home for the next guest. This includes changing the sheets and towels, washing them for the next reset, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, wiping down, getting up all hair, general cleaning. Occasionally some various duties, like opening Amazon boxes, letting me know when low on supplies, plunging a toilet, minor fixes, taking out trash etc. Someone with light handyman experience would be a bonus (I would pay additional for any handyman work). You would also be checking for any damage or stolen items, or if there is evidence that a house rule was broken (like smoking inside or unauthorized extra guests or pets). You would take photos and/or video showing plenty of evidence if any of these occurred for use in an insurance claim against the guest. I am looking for secondary cleaners who could do around 5-10 cleanings on average per week. Flexibility and availability are important, as I often get last-minute requests, so I would need someone who is typically available 11am-4pm on most days, including Sat/Sun. If you are only available on Saturdays and Sundays or even just Sundays, this would still be helpful as Sundays are the busiest day. My smaller apartments that are 2 bedrooms would typically pay $30 per cleaning, based on an average cleaning of 1.25 hrs depending how clean the guests left it (more often than not they leave it pretty clean) and how fast you are. There is extra pay if previous guests had pets, had a long stay, had guests over max etc. My houses that are 3-5 bedrooms would typically pay $50-70 per cleaning, depending how many guests stayed, based on an average cleaning of 2-3 hrs depending how clean the guests left it (more often than not they leave it very clean) and how fast you are. There is extra pay if previous guests had pets, had a long stay, had additional guests etc. The washing machine must be left empty when you leave, but you may leave a load going in the dryer. Pay is per clean not per hour. Time per clean is an average as sometimes the guests will be extremely clean and it won’t require much, and other times it’s a huge slob that requires lots of time. A clean is only completed when the place is fully cleaned and reset for next guests to a high standard. Cleaning Supplies are provided at each property. I’m looking for long-term cleaners only, no temporary positions. This would be a good job for stay at home parents, part-time students, retirees or part-time employees or full-time freelance cleaners looking for some extra cash. Principals only.
