The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various commercial spaces. This role requires a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Duties Perform custodial tasks including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors to ensure a clean environment. Conduct facilities maintenance by inspecting and maintaining cleanliness in common areas, restrooms, and offices. Execute floor care duties to maintain their appearance. Assist with industrial cleaning tasks, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. Provide porter services by transporting materials or equipment as needed throughout the facility. Carry out commercial cleaning duties in various settings, adapting to the specific needs of each location. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or equipment malfunctions. Collaborate with team members to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. Requirements Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning preferred but not required. Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices is a plus. Knowledge of floor care techniques, including buffing and polishing, is highly desirable. Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
