Janitorial Worker Garrison Hill Commercial Cleaners Rye, NH 03870 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and facilities maintenance, with an emphasis on quality and efficiency. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in designated areas. Maintain cleanliness in both commercial and residential settings. Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and polishing to ensure surfaces are well-maintained. Handle custodial duties, including restroom sanitation and waste disposal. Assist with industrial cleaning tasks as needed, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel. Collaborate with team members to ensure all cleaning schedules are met efficiently. Experience Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred. Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices is a plus. Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment operation is desirable. Experience in residential painting or related tasks is beneficial. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
